Interest Groups

Interest Groups build community around the many and varied interests of individuals in the congregation.  Some have a long history others are recently organized. Anyone in the congregation can start a group if enough others show similar passions. That also means as participation wanes, these groups dissolve. Therefore, this is an evolving  part of UUVC. Sign up sheets are available in the Community Hall following in-person services.

Golf groups are playing Wednesdays and Fridays

Golfer? Contact Tom Tirrell or Ron Nance

Mah Jongg –  a weekly game for players and learners.

Game Night - a variety of board and card games following a monthly pot-luck supper.

Fiber Arts - the Hooks 'n Needles group meets a couple of times a month to work on a variety of individual projects as they socialize and learn from each other.

The following two activites are on hiatus, but we hope to revive them in the not-too-distant future:

Dining Out – socializing in a group of six at a nearby restaurant is a great way for newer members and friends of UUVC to get acquainted.

Dining In – six or so gather at a home for a shared dinner, hosting rotating among the members.
