Getting Involved - Community Involvement

Jackson House

Eleanor Klugh Jackson House for Crisis Intervention Services, Inc., or “Jackson House," is an interfaith non-profit community crisis center in Hot Springs which provides short-term emergency assistance for basic needs such as food, clothing and medicine without regard to race, creed, or nationality - and without imposing values or beliefs upon those served. Computers for Kids UU-C4K

Several tech-savvy people volunteer in the UUVC Computer for Kids Program. Click the link above for more information.

Clarion Call

With four homes in Hot Springs, Clarion Call provides a supportive environment for men and women recovering from substance abuse.  UUVC collects household items such as linens, towels and kitchen ware, and personal hygiene items for the residents.

Interfaith Council

UUVC participates in the Hot Springs Village Interfaith Council, and takes its turn hosting community wide worship services to commemorate special days, such as Thanksgiving and Earth Day.  We donate to the annual shoe fund and participate in the Christmas Gift Basket program for local families.
