The UU-Computer for Kids (C4K) program refurbishes computers which have been donated by individuals, businesses, and schools and can be upgraded with current Microsoft and other useful application software. After wiping the hard drive to remove all personal data files and programs, Microsoft Window 10 Pro and Office 2010 are installed along with several useful software applications.
If you are interested in donating a computer to the program, be assured the computer will be placed with either a student (high school or college), adults who are attempting to improve their lives, or to a non-profit organization. Student recipients’ families are most often those without a home computer.
To donate your computer, please provide as much of the following information about the computer as you can and indicate whether you would (1) prefer to drop the computer at the C4K office at the UU Village Church (403 Barcelona Rd - located at the corner of Barcelona Rd and Calella Rd) or (2) would like the computer (and accessories) picked up.
